The Mill and the Mill House have been in our Italian family for four generations.
Our aim has been to preserve the history of the buildings and their part in the local fabric of the village and to provide a very comfortable but authentic taste of Tuscany.

If you wish for a peaceful holiday in beautiful scenery with access to medieval villages and wonderful local cuisine, if your perfect holiday is sifting with a glass of wine
under an arbour of vines and cooking delicious food after a walk in the countryside or finding a local food festival and walking around a medieval town in the candlelight, if you like to eat in the restaurants the Italian eat in - then the Mulino could be just what
you are looking for.

We have retained the history of the Mill - with all the grinding stones and original features preserved. We have used local materials and enhanced the character of the properties using sympathetic furnishings but with all the modern comforts we expect today.
We have deliberately chosen not to have sky television but instead have a large flat screen 'tv' in each property with a DVD player and a stock of DVDS.

We aim to enable you to have a relaxing authentic holiday - we can arrange if you would like for delivery of a box of local seasonal vegetables or a hamper of provisions when you arrive. We have also stocked the houses with some wine which you can buy or replenish during your stay.

We recommend that the Mill and the Mill House are suitable for children aged 5 upwards due to the stone steps and access to the river. We also recommend that you have a car as the properties are in the countryside - but we have a good local taxi company which you may wish to use and good train links from Castelnuovo to Pisa, Lucca and Florence.
